Scholarship Winners

"To me, this scholarship represents hope, sacrifice, and the chance to honor my family’s journey. Eight years ago, my family left Nigeria behind, along with the home, relatives, and life we had always known, in pursuit of opportunities we could not access there. I still remember watching the furniture that held years of memories being carried away and arriving in the United States with almost nothing. Those sacrifices were made so my siblings and I could dream bigger. Receiving this scholarship would mean that someone believes in my potential and is willing to invest in my future. It would ease the financial burden on my family, allowing me to focus more on my education and less on the cost of achieving my goals. More importantly, it would remind me that the sacrifices my parents made were not in vain. This scholarship is not just an award—it is an opportunity to continue my family’s legacy of perseverance."

"I am really grateful. This is a great opportunity. I hope that Rho Lambda Lambda Foundation can keep doing this for more scholars to come!"
